Meet Daniel Skinner. Golf and Baseball Coach, Bay Area.
How it started
Daniel grew up around sports. Baseball started with his dad's coaching in little league. Golf came through the Arnerich children's golf program at Chuck Corica Golf Complex in Alameda. Both sports shaped who he is and how he coaches today.
He's an athlete first. An All-Star in the National Adult Baseball Association, a former NCAA baseball scholarship player at Academy of Art University, and the MVP and Dontrelle Willis Award winner in the World Baseball League. He brings that ability forward every time he steps onto a range or a field with a student.
How Daniel coaches
Daniel has his own athletic gifts, and he brings them forward to help others learn. He loves to play, and he loves to help, enable, and support other people.
With golf, he shares the joy of the game. He gives players a sense of enjoyment and accomplishment. He helps them find peace with where they are today, and builds excitement about where they can go next.
His coaching is built on emotional resilience, discipline, and accountability. He mentors through calm communication, steady judgment, and genuine sportsmanship.

Coaching and community
Daniel mixes golf coaching with charity work. Whether it's building homes with Habitat for Humanity or running youth clinics, he brings the same energy to the community that he brings to the course.
